1996 - 2000 - start of serial production of the first models
After careful preparation and the launch of serial production, the first models of armchairs and chairs were produced by the METTA company. Through high quality and service, since 2000 the METTA has begun to win the market and the loyalty of customers.
2015 - start of production of the unique SAMURAI series
In collaboration with Japanese engineers a new unique series of SAMURAI ergonomic chairs was launched. Created using patented new generation technology, the chairs have made a sensational impression on the office chair market.
2016 - obtaining the Swiss certificate of conformity
The SAMURAI ergonomic chairs have been tested and received the Swiss certificate of conformity with the European quality standard EN 1335 on safety of operation and environmental friendliness.
2017 - start of sales to the EU
With the obtaining of the Swiss certificate of conformity with the European quality standard EN 1335 on safety of operation and environmental friendliness, the METTA company began the period of conquest of the European market. Participation in the largest specialized furniture exhibitions in Europe has contributed to the development of a network of business contacts and expanding the geography of sales of products that correspond to the highest quality standards.
2019 - increase of export sales
Since 2019, METTA has been increasing its export sales thanks to major contracts with leading global retail chains such as GIGA International, Conforama, XXXLutz Group, Walmart, and Wayfair.
2020 – production of modified SAMURAI 04
We improved the SAMURAI series of chairs. Now the chair is equipped with a unique 2D lumbar support with height and depth adjustments, including a new 3D headrest.
